Add a Bang to Basic
We have all heard the saying "less is more" and have applied it to our lives in many ways; for example, having less friends can mean more benefits for you because of the possibility of less drama. Well, this season it has been applied to fashion. Whether you are going out wearing shorts and a tee shirt, a simple dress, or all black (like me), when keeping it simple it is imperative that you add a little BANG!! What BANG you add, now, is all up to you! Check out this outfit I put together to recreate the less is more look. I included knee high socks (found in my dad's closet) and a military jacket (which is actually a men's shirt from Target); without them my outfit is simple: a plain black crop top and a black velvet skater skirt.
Comfy but CHIC
Leather joggers are a girl's dream come true! Women have always wanted a way to dress comfortable while still looking cute especially when she's going through that time of the month. During that time of the month, all we want to do is lie in bed and wear loose sweat pants because we can take any more pressure on our stomachs. Leather joggers are more than perfect during our desperate time. Not only are they helpful, and comfy, but they are also cute and cute for any time, that is. The leather jogging pants are super sleek and chic, and celebs have embraced this trend making it a famous pair of pants that will hit your closet sooner or later this season. Not at all meant to go working out with or playing couch potato at home, the leather joggers can be styled for both work and play with just about anything from sleeveless tops to blazers and button-ups.
Here's how we style the leather jogging pants: sleeveless top, black heels, and a dark lip.

Skorts-galore
If you are a 90s child, like us at Dress Relief, you are well aware of the old skort. Back then, moms dressed their daughters in the half- and half trend to allow the girls to look like young ladies without worrying they'd show everyone their goodies. Another reason young ladies wore skorts were because they were apart of their school's dress code. Today, women tackle the updated trend (now with envelope styled cuts) because… why not? The skort was one of Summer's hottest trend and has made its way into Fall.
The skort pictured below can be found at Forever21 for only $22.80.

Dressing For Fall in Summer Weather
It can become stressful living in warm Miami, Florida (or any place where it is warm) during Fall. While other places are experiencing much colder weather we are not. Some may be envious of our lovely weather (which I am forever grateful for) however, fashion lovers are envious of the states that experience all of the seasons. We look in style magazines and wish to be able to dress according to the seasons. Well leather is a HUGE fall trend, so how can I incorporate leather and not sweat profusely. Leather shorts are a great way to be trendy while staying cool. Here is how we, at Dress Relief, style a cute pair of faux leather shorts.

Hello World!
Hey everyone! My name is Sydney Cook and I am a lover of fashion. I am one who looks to fashion to relieve my stress. Being that I am a college student and athlete, I am under a lot of stress more than I usually should. During those times, I pick up my computer and look for fashion blogs to help me cope; however, I wanted something different. I wanted to experience other things because I felt as if everything I came across was similar. This inspired me to create Dress Relief. I am so excited for this journey to start; here you will find pictures, videos, hauls, and much more to relieve your stress.
